Videos show Riley Strain stumbling downtown the night she disappeared

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Detectives have released new video showing Riley Strain, 22, missing in downtown Nashville the night she disappeared.

Strain disappeared March 8 after being kicked out of Luke's 32 BRIDGE, Luke Bryan's bar on Broadway, according to his friends. Strain, a University of Missouri student, has not been seen or communicated with his friends since.

In the video released by police Tuesday, Strain is seen wearing the same two-tone shirt from the night he disappeared as he walked across First Avenue North to Gay Street near the Cumberland River at 9:47 p.m. .A friend told police. that they lost sight of Strain when he was kicked out of the bar and began searching for him – a search that continued but failed to find the 22-year-old until here.

A second video captured by the Downtown Smoke & Vape Shop showed Strain stumbling near Church Street at 9:45 p.m. Friday.

Friends tried to locate him using his Snapchat location, but were unsuccessful. All phone calls to Strain's phone allegedly went to voicemail. Strain's parents traveled to Nashville from Springfield, Missouri, to help with the search.

Officers checked local hospitals, jails and a telephone, without success.

The search continues Tuesday in downtown Nashville. TC Restaurant Group, operator and owner of Luke's 32 Bridge, said it continues to work closely with the Metro Nashville Police Department to provide security camera footage and any other potentially helpful information to facilitate the search for Strain.

“Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones for his safe return,” the group said.
