    INGREDIENTS

    Potatoes (small size) half a kg

    Salt to taste

    ginger 1 teaspoon

    cloves 4 to 6 pieces

    small cardamom 4 to 6 pieces

    large cardamom 2 pieces

    7

    fennel ground 2 teaspoons

    cashmere ground 1 tablespoon crushed

    Hot spices half a teaspoon

    10

    yogurt half a cup

    curry leaves a few leaves

    cooking oil customized

     

     

     

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat for three to four minutes and fry the potatoes until golden.

    Heat two to three minutes in a separate saucepan with four tablespoons of cooking oil and add cloves, small cardamom and large cardamom.

    Then add salt, ginger, Kashmiri chillies and fennel and fry on low heat. Add a little bit of yoghurt in between.

    Pour a cup of water and let it boil.

    5

    Then add potatoes and cook till gravy thickens.

    6

    Sprinkle with curry leaves and hot spices and leave on the tail for three to four minutes.
